Fifteen year old Reece Pickersgill is the next generation of British enduro talent coming through the ranks to watch.
Despite his young age, Reece has been enduro through and through for almost eight years competing in hare and hound, cross country and youth enduro and now most recently extreme enduro.
Living in West Yorkshire, Reece competes mainly in the North of England. Some of his best results to date have been runner-up in the RAW Enduro Sportsman championship and second overall in the Sportsman class of the Wild Westwood extreme enduro.
Back in 2014, competing on 85cc machinery, he also won his class in the TimberX EnduroCross event.
Armed with a KTM 125 EXC for 2017, Reece is focused on the British Extreme Enduro Championship, British Sprint Enduro Championship and Edge Off Road Championship, but he’s also other racing goals too, as Reece explains…
“Once I’m old enough my goal is to get my road bike licence so I can also race the British Enduro Championship. I’m hoping to squeeze in the Weston Beach Race at the end of the year too.
“I would like to thank my Mum, Dad and Grandad for always supporting me at every race I've ever done. Also a special thanks to Ian Sigley for helping me at my first ever event. He gave me the confidence in racing and I have loved the sport ever since!”
Along with his family support, Reece would also like to thank sponsors Edge Offroad, Race FX, Craig’s Motorcycles and Fly Racing for all their valuable help and support.
