KTM mounted Jaume Betriu secured the overall victory at the opening round of the Spanish Enduro Championship in Oliana.

The first test of the RFME Championship of Spain Enduro is already in the books and with a large number of entries, the Motoclub Segre carried out a race that has not left anyone indifferent.

The atmosphere throughout the weekend has been very good with many fans lining out to watch the action. All three special tests were packed with spectators cheering.

On the opening day of competition it was Yamaha mounted Cristobal Guerrero who claimed the outright win from Roman Quer and Jaume Betriu.

On day two Gas Gas’ Jonathan Barragan ended the day as the fastest outright.

But with the scores for both days combined, the overall victory at the end of the opening round of the series went Betriu.

In Enduro 1 it was Sherco’s Lorenzo Santolino who topped the podium.

Guerrero — helped by his outright win on day one — was fastest overall in Enduro 2.

Along with winning the overall scratch, Betriu also claimed the Enduro 3 category win.

Laia Sanz (KTM) put in a strong ride to take home eighth in Enduro 2.

The next round of the RFME Championship of Spain Enduro will be held in Valdecaballeros (Badajoz) on April 1/2.
