British custom graphics manufacturers give our KTM 250 EXC-F long termer a facelift with a set of new stickers…

Nothing brings a bike round like a fresh new set of graphics and Amped have done a sweet job of freshening up the look of our bike with one of their graphic kits tailored with our specific logos.

With an entry to the European class at the final round of the SuperEnduro World Championship in France, I got in touch with the guys at Amped to help make our 250F look the business on the start line.

After a few email exchanges regards logo requirements and placements, the guys had whipped up a fairly sweet-looking set of graphics hassle-free and in no time at all. Within days of ordering the postman had delivered them to our doorstep — easy.

Ideally we’d have liked a new set of plastics to go with them too. The original set on the bike had a few hard wintery hours on them and were becoming scuffed around the leg area. But time was against us so we had to crack on.

Nevertheless a good scrub down of the plastics had them cleaned up nicely and removed of any dirt or grease. Sweet-talking the wife even had us sat at the kitchen table fitting the graphics.

While it was nice to be out of the cold shed to work on the bike, the additional heat was not only a comforting benefit, but the warmth helped the stickiness do it’s thing better.

The fit was good across all panels and Amped did a great job of matching up the logos and brand names we wanted on our bike, while ensuring the fit matched to KTM’s original design. Overall it made a job I never like doing pleasurable.

The superenduro track was a hard test of man and machine and within reason the graphics held strong. Unfortunately a few crashes in the rocks during practice, saw a side panel edge peel away.

I had to do a little bit of on-site sculpting with a sharp blade but thankfully they re-stuck strong. I’ve clocked a few hours since then and there’s been no further issues.

Overall Amped were competitively priced, good designs, good fitment and the team were super efficient and helpful.
