Alta Motors to contest the AMA EnduroCross with their Redshift MX electric bike.

When the start gate drops on the opening round of the AMA EnduroCross Championship on August 19, one bike will be all picture and no sound as Alta Motor’s Redshift MX electric bike competes in the pro class.

Squaring up against Colton Haaker and Cody Webb indoors, Alta Motors are certainly jumping in the deep end with their electric bike.

Last year they sampled some endurocross action with Kurt Nicoll claiming a Vet Class win at the Phoenix round.

They then went on to claim global notoriety when Josh Hill rode to a top five result on the Redshift MX in the Red Bull Straight Rythym.

Now for 2017 Alta Motors are taking on the EnduroCross series for real.

We're excited to be entering the Pro Class this year and showcasing the advantages of the Redshift MX,” stated Jon Bekefy, Director of Marketing at Alta Motors.

“The extreme obstacles encountered during an EnduroCross race allow the Alta Redshift MX to demonstrate its benefits over the competition.

“Riders no longer need to worry about a clutch or shifting during competition and the bike will not stall, which makes those moments less disruptive.”

With rider line up yet to be confirmed, the series begins on August 19 in Las Vegas.
