Leading the way is Justin Soule. Third in the 2011 championship, Soule visited the podium three times, which included a third place finish at X-Games. Already proving that he has the fitness, technical skills and experience needed to contend for the title in 2012, he just needs to consistently start near the front of the pack.
Backing him up is the last year’s Junior sensation Taylor Robert. The twenty-year old showed great promise during 2011 when he won the E3 Spark Plugs Junior Championship. He then capped off the season with a second place finish during the second final at Las Vegas. Now with a full season of racing under his belt Robert is expecting to deliver more next May.
Focusing on the WORCS series as a privateer for the past few seasons, Bobby Garrison will arrive in Las Vegas as a relative unknown. However, having earned his place on the Monster Energy Kawasaki squad for 2012, Garrison is determined to find his way to the front of the pack.
Although not competing in the full AMA EnduroCross Championship series in 2012, Destry Abbott completes the line of Kawasaki riders in Las Vegas. The longtime Monster Kawasaki rider and crowd favorite will be competing in selected rounds and regularly finds a way to qualify for the main events in dramatic fashion.
The 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship kicks off Friday, May 4th in Las Vegas.
