Josh Strang Eyes Endurocross Success

Top Australian off-roader and former GNCC champion Josh Strang switches disciplines for 2012 as he heads indoors to compete in the GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship.

For Strang, 2012 will mark an exciting year, but is also one that he hopes will be considerably better than the last as he joins the FMF KTM squad. After winning the highly sought after GNCC title during 2010, his championship defence was unsuccessful due to a catalogue of bad luck. Now armed with a new team and a fresh set of goals, Strang is intent on becoming a top contender for victory when the AMA EnduroCross championship begins in Las Vegas on May 4th.

Armed with her X-Games EnduroCross bronze medal, Kacy Martinez is one of the hot favourites for championship honours in the Women’s class. Combining both her WORC championship winning experience with her proven speed many expect Martinez to be one of the standout results this year.

With Bobby Prochnau, Ivan Ramirez and Travis Coy joining both Strang and Martinez under the FMF KTM racing awning, their presence inside the Orleans Arena is sure to be a strong one.

The eight round 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross championship begins on Friday May 4th at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
