For the first time ever the US Geico Endurocross championship will incorporate an over-and-under bridge into one of its series opening events. Round one of the 2012 series in Las Vegas on May 4 will mirror many European indoor enduro events by featuring an exciting over-under bridge.

In addition to the bridge the event will see the start situated outside the arena, another first for the US Endurocross series. “We are always looking for new obstacles to challenge the riders and keep the spectators guessing,” stated Mike Karsting, VP of Events at Source Interlink. “So we are looking forward to the Over-Under bridge as well as placing the starting gate outside the Arena, which will leave more room on the floor for the rest of the obstacles.”
