It was hot, dry and dusty… and the first time the then unknown Polish rider Taddy Blazusiak secured victory at the Erzberg Rodeo. In 2007 KTM enjoyed a clean sweep of the podium as Tom Sagar and Juha Salminen joined Blazusiak on the rostrum while just 19 riders made it to the finish.
Dakar Rally legend Marc Coma gave the twin-cylinder class a go and placed fifth while Finn Simo Kirssi narrowly secured victory ahead of David Knight. Due to a clash of schedules with the US GNCC series DK was unable to compete in the main event…
