The competitors of the Desafio Litoral Rally were granted an unexpected rest day when event organisers were forced to cut cancel stage three. With unsettled weather but more importantly heavy fog resulting in the grounding of rescue helicopters until 10.30am, the organisers exceeded the time limit allowed for the helicopters to fly over the stage during the race.

The fourth day of the competition will be one of the most varied stages of the rally so far due to terrain, routes and navigation changes.
