Acting as the reserve rider for Great Britain’s ISDE team, Jamie McCanney has been called up to replace David Knight...

With news released this week that Knight will be forced to withdraw from ISDE in Sachensring, Germany, McCanney will now act as his replacement.

A rider very much on form, McCanney has carded some impressive results in the EWC of late. Placing as runner up in the Enduro Youth Cup class at both the GP of Sweden and the GP of Finland, the 18-year-old Husaberg rider will be eager to take his place on the start line in Germany.

Although young enough to race on the British Junior squad, McCanney narrowly missed selection due to a season hampered by a broken wrist and collarbone sustained at the EWC series opener in Chile. Now fully recovered from his injuries and back on top form, Jamie will be determined to use this golden opportunity to end his season on a real high.
