As winners of the World Trophy, Junior World Trophy and Women’s World Trophy competitions the 87th International Six Days Enduro has unquestionably been hugely successful one for France. But with France’s Junior Trophy team rider Kevin Rohmer hospitalised on day one with a punctured lung and broken arm, it’s not been the easiest of weeks for the French squad.

“We only recently got some news on Kevin’s condition,” explained Enduro 1 class winner and World Trophy team rider Antoine Meo.

“As people know Kevin crashed on the first enduro test on day one and has been in hospital since. He is in a medically induced coma because he has a punctured lung, as well as a broken arm. The doctors do not yet know if they will need to operate on his lung, but it is clearly a serious situation. He is one of France’s fast, young riders and we just hope that he makes a fast recovery.” Get well soon Kevin…
