Oldrati, who joined the Swedish manufacture for the final round of the Enduro World Championship in France, will contest the Enduro 1 class on their new FE 250. The Italian will become the first rider in the history of Husaberg to participate in E1.
After a difficult start to his season, which saw him spilt from Bordone Ferrari, Oldrati became a revelation during the latter half of 2012. Funding his own racing efforts for the GP of Sweden and GP of Finland, the 23-year old picked up three podium results.
Joining Husaberg for the final round of the EWC at the GP of France in Brignoles, he was able to secure third overall in the E1 championship.
The Italian will ride under the Husaberg colours alongside the existing Husaberg Factory Racing Team riders, Pela Renet (E2), Oriol Mena (E3), Joakim Ljunggren (E3) and Mathias Bellino (E2) in the 2013 and 2014 Enduro World Championship. With this addition to the team, Husaberg Factory Racing Team managed by Thomas Gustavsson will now be present in all EWC classes while also supporting Manxman Jamie McCanney in the 125 Youth Cup class.
