With speculation rising as to Remes’ future following his departure from the KTM Enduro Factory team, the pint-sized Finn will remain in the Enduro World Championship with the Italian manufacture.
After ending 2011 as runner up in the Enduro 1 class, while also claiming the overall individual victory at the ISDE, the Finnish rider endured a somewhat difficult season during 2012. Although managing to win day two at the GP of Italy in Castiglion Fiorentino and finish on the podium seven times throughout the season, it was two costly non-scores that ultimately put a dampener on his results.
Eventually ending his year fourth overall, Remes placed just two points adrift of an overall top three finish.

For 2013, a more focused Remes will see him remain in the E1 category on the TM EN250Fi. With Eero confirming his signature with TM Racing, the team now expands to a three-man outfit for the coming season.
Estonia’s Aigar Leok, who took third overall in the E3 standings, will remain in E3 while Finland’s Antti Hellsten will move from E1 to compete on 2-stroke machinery in E2.
The Italian manufacture will also continue to support two youth riders.
