An announcement by Superenduro promoter Alain Blanchard (ABC Communications) has confirmed that the 2014 Superenduro World Championship will start in Great Britain, on November 17. Taking place within the Echo Arena, Liverpool, not only will the 2014 championship start in the UK – a first for the Superenduro series – but it is also predicted that the championship will include five or six rounds – one of which possibly outside of Europe.
Starting on November 17 it will run until the end of February. In what will be a considerable change from the norm’ the championship’s opening event will also feature professional Superenduro Cycle Racing – where mountain bike racers will share 90 per cent of the indoor course used by the motorcycle racers. Stay tuned for more info on both the 2014 Superenduro series… and the mountain bike races that will feature at the first round in Liverpool.
Alain Blanchard – Superenduro promoter: “We are very pleased to be able to confirm that the series will start in Liverpool. It’s been tough putting together a championship this winter, but we are already receiving applications from organisers that will ensure a great 2014 series. But first we have the 2013 championship, which although not as big as we would have hoped in terms of the number of races will deliver some exciting racing.”
