While the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland marked the opening round of the 2013 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, it also became the scene of David Knight’s eagerly awaited Honda debut. Although essentially still a ‘work in progress’ project, Knight’s podium result and constant challenge for victory clearly indicated that he’s already beginning to hit his stride on his new steed.

Sporting only subtle suspension adjustments, Xtrig triple clamps, Talon wheel sets fitted with Goldentyres, Renthal chain wheels and handlebars, a hydraulic clutch and an incredibly tasty looking FMF exhaust system, Knight’s Honda CRF 450R is predominately still of a showroom motocross specification.

Curious to see if this will become the bike that will win the 2013 Enduro 2 World Championship, Enduro21 took a closer look…
