After a successful season, which saw team leader Darryl Bolter secure third overall in the British Sprint Enduro Championship along with finishing fourth in the British Enduro Championship, Bolter will be joined by Steve Holcombe and Katie Wakely for the coming season.
With numerous British and European titles to his credit, Bolter, 28, is one of the most experienced riders in the paddock and now with a year’s experience on the KTM 350 EXC, will be aiming to fight his way into title contention.
"I’m really happy to be continuing my involvement with Crescent KTM for the 2013 season. It was great to be a part of the team last year. They are such a professional outfit and it was really good to work with Crescent and all the guys there,” confirmed Bolter.
“Already I feel more prepared that what I was last year and I’m really looking forward to getting back on a bike and racing again. I’ll be doing a similar programme as I did in 2012, but hope to add in a round of the Enduro World Championship later on this year.”
Regarded as one of the standout performers of 2012, Devon based 18-year old Steve Holcombe joins Crescent KTM for 2013. Contesting the Under 19 class of the BSEC, the youngster simply dominated his class by winning all ten rounds of the series. That success also gained him a place on the British Junior ISDE where he helped his team to second overall in the event.
Now armed with a Crescent KTM 250 EXC-F and benefitting from the invaluable experience and guidance of Bolter, Holcombe will continue to be a rider to watch in 2013.

"I'm delighted to have joined the Crescent KTM team and to have been given the chance work with Daryl and such a professional squad,” told a pleased Holcombe.
“I won all the rounds of the BSEC last year, but I know that this season will be very different – I will have a lot of competition. I am moving up to the Under 23 class, where hopefully I can continue to improve both my speed and performances.”
Rounding off Crescent’s KTM Enduro team is Kate Wakely. She will be competing on a KTM 150XC in the British Sprint Enduro Championship and hopefully the Enduro World Championship. The former Australian Motocross champion is returning from a break in competitive racing and is looking to get back to championship winning form with the Crescent KTM squad.
"I’m looking forward to racing my Crescent KTM 150 in as many races as possible this year. My aim this season is to be competitive throughout and push for some wins later in the season at the British Sprint Enduro Championships and ultimately in the Women’s EWC."
The Crescent KTM British Enduro team will contest the ten round British Sprint Enduro Championship, the British Enduro Championship plus selected international events.
The team will be supported in its three-way attack by Motorex lubricants, Tsubaki chains, Michelin via www.endurotyres.com and Renthal products, as well as electronic components company Azego, Tough Plant Hire, and Symprove.
