Christophe Charlier joins Beta for the 2018 Enduro World Championship following an impressive rookie season with Husqvarna.
Beta is pleased to announce that the rider Christophe Charlier will be part of the Beta Factory Enduro Team for the next two seasons.
The talented twenty-six year-old joins Steve Holcombe – World EnduroGP Champion – forming a top team to defend the Title of Manufacturers World Champion that the Italian company has held for the last two years.
Charlier — 2017 enduro rookie — comes from a season full of successes thanks to his wins at Assoluti d’Italia, Motocross of Nations and Enduro Six Days – in these latter two races he represented the national French team.
The program for the 2018 season includes racing in the World Enduro Championship on a RR 4T – cc class yet to be defined – and at Assoluti d’Italia, a competition where he will race as the reigning Champion.
“I am very pleased to be part of an Italian team,” told Christophe Charlier. “To work with Fabrizio Dini and Lapo Bianchi because I know how professional they are.
“My goal for 2018 is to perform well in all of the competitions I will be competing in: the World Enduro Championship and Assoluti d’Italia, while the classics will be assessed along the way.”
“We are very happy to have him here – commented Fabrizio Dini, Team Manager of the Beta Factory Enduro Team.
“Christophe, already in his first year at the World Enduro Championship, has proven his skill as a rider by making rapid progress during the season.
“For these reasons we strongly believe that we shall contend well in this competitive season.”
