Monday Shout Out to our world champs representing enduro at the glitz and glamour of FIM’s Gala…
You’ll probably need a double take to recognise them, but our EnduroGP World Champs do scrub up well in a suit.
Sunday afternoon marked the FIM’s annual Gala to celebrate the world champions of 2016.
A collective who’s who in motorcycling, the auditorium in Berlin had all the stars gathered including our enduro boys receiving their accolades.
Matt Phillips, Steve Holcombe, Eero Remes and Giacomo Redondi all took to the stage during the evening to collect their shiny, shiny world championship gold medals.
Seeing them spend the weekend rubbing shoulders with MotoGP’s Marc Marquez, Superbike’s Jonathan Rea and guys like Ryan Dungey kind of helps to put into perspective the merits of their achievements.
It’s something we sort of become complacent with when we see them head-to-toe in mud or dust in a snotty piece of forestry week in week out.
So congrats boys on a job well done for 2016, we trust the celebrations went long into the night.
