KTM’s Jonny Walker has withdrawn from the 14th edition of the Red Bull Romaniacs due to a hand injury.

Sustaining an injury to his hand midway day two, Walker tried to start day three but was quickly forced to stop citing difficulties in holding onto the handlebars.

Walker sustained the injury to his left hand when he trapped it between a rock wall and his motorbike while trying to lower it down a narrower and steep incline knows as “Holy Rock”.

It’s been a difficult week for injuries at this year’s Red Bull Romaniacs with Walker’s retirement following race favourites Alfredo Gomez, Wade Young and also David Knight.

With Walker out of the running order, it’s Graham Jarvis who continues to comfortably lead the way over Mario Roman. Paul Bolton is now up to third followed closely by Manuel Lettenbichler.
