Australia have officially announced their team lineup for this year’s ISDE in France in August.
Returning with teams in the World, Junior and Women’s Trophy classification, the Aussies will once again start as one of the hot favourites for top honours across all three classes.
After winning the ISDE for the first time in 2015, 2016 didn’t go to plan with two riders dropping out. Fielding some of the most talented enduro riders in the world, this year’s Senior Trophy Team will be comprised of Matthew Phillips, Daniel Milner, Joshua Green and Daniel Sanders.
Following a “turmoil” ending to proceedings in 2015 against France, beating France on French soil may offer some redemption for the Aussie squad.
The Australian Women’s World Trophy Team will be gunning for a sensational fifth consecutive victory at ISDE, and will field a powerhouse unchanged from 2016. The Women's Team is made up of Tayla Jones, Jemma Wilson and Jessica Gardiner for the 2017 campaign. They will set out to create further history with the same team for a fifth year in a row.
The Junior Trophy Team will have two new comers to the 'Six-Day' scene in Will Ruprecht and Lyndon Snodgrass. Joining them will be Jack Simpson. Simpson debuted in the team in 2016.
The 2017 ISDE takes place in Brive, France from August 28 - September 2.
