With Dakar rapidly closing in take a look at the Spanish red army of HOMOINSA Racing Team.
Six strong, the team features a wealth of talent heading to the 2017 Dakar Rally in South America next January.
Led by the massively experience Gerard Farrés, the goal is to improve on his eighth place result in 2016…
“We will give it our all, with one more year of experience and a lesson well learnt. We have worked well throughout the year and now we have to ride a good race, making no mistakes and trying to be more consistent”.
With his debut Dakar behind him, and EnduroGP career put to bed, Ivan Cervantes heads to South America fully focused on the task ahead of him…
“I am leaving behind the discipline of enduro to focus on my future in rally. Last year was my debut and it was very useful to learn from my own mistakes and try to make progress in a very different sport, focus, navigation and consistency are vital.
“I have to prepare as well as I can to fight for a dreamed victory, a feeling of satisfaction similar to when I won my first World Championship”.
Partner to Dakar legend Nani Roma, Rosa Romero knows all too well the challenges of Dakar…
“It is true that there are very few women in the race and that it is never easy for us, but I can't complain, the team is a great family and I feel right at home with my teammates.”
The team has grown and will place six riders on the start line, Gerard Farrés, Iván Cervantes, Antonio Gimeno, Rosa Romero, Dani Oliveras and the team newcomer, experienced Antonio Ramos.
