The USA means business this year in the defence of their ISDE crown, and so in preparation towards the showdown in August held a three-day qualifier series in conjunction with the Full Gas Sprint Enduro organisers.
Three days of racing, topped off with a traditional ISDE styles motocross race, all in tough muddy conditions gave a good indication of who’s on form for France.
Thad DuVall remained fast and relatively clean for most of the three days of competition to take top honours at the inaugural Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro.

Cory Buttrick hits the cross test while the conditions are still relatively clean. Things got nasty after heavy rain drenched the area during Friday’s action. The SRT Racing KTM rider finished the event in second.

Ryan Sipes killed it on the cross test on Friday, winning all four tries. However, crashes on Sunday dropped the Coast Racing Husqvarna racer off the pace. Despite winning the final motocross test, Sipes finished the event in 11th.
Josh Toth was the surprise of the weekend. The Am Pro Yamaha rider was blazing fast on Friday, however, a crash cost him over a minute. He was still able to recover on Saturday and finish the event in third overall.
Aussie off-road star Josh Strang was a solid second after Friday’s event, however the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider dropped off the pace on Saturday and finished the event in fifth.
