Taylor Robert has won the seventh round of the National Hare and Hounds Association series from America. The Factory FMF KTM rider clinched his third successive victory of the 2017 season by winning the event held in Caliente, Nevada.

There was no better way to welcome back racers from the break other than the Muley Run, hosted by the Silver State Trail Blazers! Located in the deep, desert canyons of Caliente, Nevada racers and spectators experienced prime monsoon weather. The pits were awake bright and early on Saturday morning, while club members and the NHHA staff worked sign-ups whilst making sure all was running smooth for the first race of the day.

The Pro Class, made up of 20 riders, saw a lineup full of desert specialists ready to take on the Southern Nevada desert. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing backed Jacob Argubright led the pack with a hole shot, but Purvines Racing's Axel Pearson stole the lead in a tricky uphill right off the start!

Purvines Racing backed Gary Sutherlin had a few difficulties in the first loop, but was ready to put the work in by the second loop, coming through the finish in 3rd place, behind Axel Pearson in 2nd and Taylor Robert in 1st.

The FMF Pro 250 class saw Tyler Lynn (pictured below) take first place, with Nick Tolman in second and Chance Fullerton in third! A stacked class of competition left the course conquered and spectators gathered anxiously to see who would come in the lead. Coming in from Loop one, Lynn held the lead over the FMF supported Pro class, ahead of Fullerton, Daemon Woolslayer and Tolman. But over the next 44-miles of Loop two, Woolslayer would fall back to fourth. Lynn has a firm hold on the points lead with just two rounds to go, sitting 38 points ahead of Braydon Bland and Ryan Karell.

Women 86cc-Open A podium saw a fairly new to the off-road series, Brandy Richards as first overall Woman after having a nice battle with Factory FMF KTM backed Kacy Martinez at the finish. Martinez came within seconds behind Richards! Although Richards got lost on course, she made up the time and held the lead, with Martinez putting on the pressure close behind. Coming in third place was Britney Gallegos. Gallegos had quite a few struggles out on the course after the awesome start she had off the line. Britney Gallegos, along with Richards and Martinez definitely earned their place on the podium after such a physically demanding race!
