KTM have pulled back the covers on their new prototype adventure bike called the 790R Concept.
Due to come into production in 2019, the 790R Concept, as KTM said, is built for riding off road.
In what looks like a completely new take on adventure bikes, it's slimer, sleeker and closer looking to a big off road enduro bike than an adventure bike that dabbles in dirt.
With full specs yet to be confirmed, KTM did say that its engine is a new 799cc parallel twin with the latest engine management sytems.
A new stiffer frame and chassis has been designed to stand up to tougher terrain.
Add in beefy forks and suspension, twin discs, bold LED lights, sleek body work and a tasty sounding Akrapovic exhaust system.
How the end result changes between now and 2019 remains to be seen, but even for enduro purists, there’s a lot to get excited about in the 790R Concept.
