Vertigo has unveiled a genuine race-replica Combat model, developed directly on the back of Dougie Lampkin’s success at the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT).
Dougie is a brand ambassador and development rider for Vertigo, but his 12 FIM World titles, plus 11 SSDT wins give him a wealth of experience to set a bike up.
Which is where this Combat model comes in with a genuine race-replica set-up. Vertigo promise the same bike settings used by Dougie, as used by him at the SSDT 2018 which kicks off in Fort William, Scotland, on May 7.
That includes the same CDI map (switchable between standard and DL settings) as used by Doug in the SSDT.
The new model also features a ‘Wificom Device’ option where additional adjustments and checks can be carried out including tuning the ignition advance and engine richness, check engine hours or calibrate the TPS.
Adjustable triple clamps and CNC machined parts litter the bike plus a titanium embossed header pipe, DL12 graphics, skid plate, injection moulded engine and clutch covers for lightness – the list goes on.
The Dougie Lampkin Replica will be a limited-edition model with only 150 units being produced worldwide.
