Josep Garcia clinches E1 and Overall titles at final round of Campeonato de España de Enduro – Spanish Enduro Championship.

Lalin, north-western Spain, hosted the last round of the 2019 Campeonato de España de Enduro where after six races Josep Garcia grabbed both the E1 and Overall 2019 titles.

Garcia, who’d opted to sit out the final WESS round in Germany, started the weekend by topping the Friday’s Super Test and then went on to post the fastest overall times Saturday and Sunday for a dominant weekend.

E2 title for Cristobal Guerrero and E3 for Enric Francisco

Cristobal Guerrero had enough with his win on Saturday to become the 2019 E2 champion but he didn’t back off on Sunday where he topped the class once more despite facing some tough competition from rally rookie Jaume Betriu. Guerrero also finished second in the Overall.

Enric Francisco was forced to overcome the pain from the injury he sustained at the last round of EnduroGP and race in Lalin to gain enough points to bag the 2019 E3 title. Fourth and third place finishes were enough for Francisco to become the E3 champion, who also finished third in the Overall.

Mireia Badia topped the Women’s class both days to become the 2019 Women’s Champion, Junior Open title went for Nicolas Kutulas and Adria Sanchez wrapped-up the Junior 125 title.
