Throwback Thursday video of drama by the bucket load at the final round of the 2018 SuperEnduro World Championship in Sweden.
The 2019 SuperEnduro World Championship hits Bilbao this Saturday with plenty still to be settled in the final three races. But do you remember last year and how so much happened?
Cody Webb came in to the last round with a lead of 17 points, but with 60 points up for grabs it was far from decided. When your closest rival is the six-time SuperEnduro World Champion Taddy Blazusiak nothing is certain.
After Cody didn’t run at his best in the opening final with the American was making too many mistakes, his advantage in the points was cut to 8 when the Polish rider won.
That was before Taddy’s championship hopes melted in race two as he battled with Billy Bolt and he suffered a shock failure that resulted in a DNF. It allowed Webb to relax and take the title.
Billy Bolt who won that overall and took runner-up position in the championship after Taddy’s DNF.
Can we expect more of the same this weekend in Bilbao?
