Hugely successful Beta Boano Racing team reveal their 2019 EnduroGP rider and team colours ahead of the opening race of the season in Italy this weekend.
Beta Boano Racing team, headed by E1 World Champion Brad Freeman, take on a new, red look for 2019 season of Enduro World and Italian Championships.
Though Boano Racing stand very much connected with the official Beta Racing Factory team, they remain a privateer squad which means their Beta RR race bikes always have a unique and fresh look and boy do they look good.
For 2019 the Boano Racing team again has Costa Ligure as the headline sponsor with new red colours making the new bikes stand out from the crowd.
For 2019 the four-rider line-up under the Boano Racing awning has some fresh rider as well with Bradley Freeman, Thomas Marini, Lorenzo Macoritto and Matteo Pavoni competing the Enduro World Championship and Italian National Championship.
Brad Freeman enters his third season with Jarno Boano’s team and stands as the man to watch this season. The young British rider took the Enduro Junior title in his first year on the Boano bikes in 2017.
In 2018 Brad moved up to the seniors and instantly made his mark winning GPs and taking the E1 World Championship. 2019 must surely be time to challenge Steve Holcombe for the overall EnduroGP World title?
Jarno Boano tells us the new guy, Thomas Marini is a 20-year-old motocross rider from San Marino. The two-times Italian 300cc 2T Italian Champion has moved to enduro for 2019 and will ride the RR 300 in the Junior class. Lorenzo Macoritto will join Marini in the EJ class with the 300.
2017 European Enduro Champion, Matteo Pavoni will ride in Enduro Youth aboard the 125 Beta.
Former Boano EnduroGP rider, Deny Philippaerts, is still with the team but takes on the role of rider manager and bike trainer, plus he will race the Assoluti in the E3 class.
Though Boano Racing work with the official Beta Racing factory enduro team, they stand as an independent team and as such mix their own blend of parts on the Beta enduro machines. That includes the Swedish gold suspension from Ohlins. Boano also have an extensive list of home-grown parts fitted to the race bikes, born from years of World Championship racing experience.
The first official outing for the Boano Racing team, along with many of the enduro world championship riders and teams, is at the opening round of the Italian Enduro Championship (Assoluti Italia Enduro) this coming weekend, March 2/3, 2019.
