Pull out your 2017 off road racing calendar and pencil in the date for the 2017 ErzbergRodeo.
Easily the must-attend event of the entire enduro season, the 23rd edition of the ErzbergRodeo will take place on 15-18 June 2017.
Gearing up for the 23rd running of the world’s toughest single day enduro - and biggest enduro festival - 1500 competitors will fill the Iron Giant during the third weekend of June.
As ever the sixth-gear pinned Iron Road prologue will challenge competitors to speeds of over 115mph during the nine mile racetrack up the mountain as the 1500 entry gets whittled down to the fastest 500 during Friday and Saturday for Sunday’s feature race.
Who can beat Graham Jarvis is the question the world will be asking when the Red Bull Hare Scramble roars into life at noon on Sunday June 18.
Defending champion Jarvis will have the target on his back as the world’s best enduro riders tackle the 22 miles and 25 checkpoints of toughest terrain imaginable.
Completing the festival of enduro will be the Rocker Ride, Erzberg Arena, EnduroCross and new for 2017 the Strombike Downhill.
Registration for the 2017 ErzbergRodeo will be in October 2016. On your marks…
