Final results are now confirmed for Sunday’s Red Bull Hare Scramble at ErzbergRodeo 2017.
Saturday proved a day for speed with the majority of riders going a lot quicker than their previous ride with some improving by about 15 seconds.
Austrian Ossi Reisinger (Husqvarna) proved once again the master of the Iron Road Prologue ripping his way up the gravel roads on his FE 501 to set the fastest time.
Wade Young improved on time and stayed second overall.
Rally hero Matthias Walkner howled his way up the mountain on his 450 Rally bike for third overall.
He was impressed with his ride saying the big girl was a bit of an handful in the twisty section, he had to be careful not to smash the side tanks on the gravel banks.
Jonny Walker was one of the big winners today jumping up a bunch of places from 30th to fourth.
Estonia’s Rannar Ussna was looking sharp on the prologue too and bagged himself fifth place.
With 1549 riders tearing it up the Iron Giant it’s always hard to pick out all the the highlights, but we’re guessing you wanna know where Mr Graham Jarvis placed — 24th and that all important front row start.
The Red Bull Hare Scramble starts Sunday June 18 at 12.00CET.
