Graham Jarvis will go for his sixth Hell’s Gate title this weekend in Italy.
Hard Enduro legend Jarvis has made a home of the rocky Tuscan hillside after taking his first win in 2011. The Husqvarna ace went on a winning-run until in 2015 when Jonny Walker stole the show.
The following year Wade Young pipped Jarvis and it looked like the kids were taking over the show until Jarvis came back in 2017 for his fifth win.
Hell’s Gate has a host of big names listed as former winners: Taddy Blazusiak, Dougie Lampkin and David Knight is a three-time winner.
Sherco Factory Racing’s Wade Young will have something to say about Jarvis claiming a sixth win as will Young’s team-mate, Mario Roman, who is no stranger to the Hell’s Gate podium and recently won the Ales Trem.

Recent Beta Racing signing, Travis Teasedale, starts with the number two plate after finishing second in 2017. Since switching to Beta in 2018 the South African has clocked up fourth at Ales Trem and second behind Jarvis at the Tough One in the UK.
Traditionally running with a strong Italian contingent, for obvious reason, Hell’s Gate is an established part of the early season hard enduro events tour in Europe – along with Ales Trem in France, The Tough One in the UK and at least in part the Bassella Race in Spain.
