GetzenRodeo organisers have set a new October date for the German extreme enduro and are offering a bumper prize fund with €10,000 for the winner.

An already packed Autumn schedule means the GetzenRodeo organisers have decided to run the East German extreme event on Sunday, October 21st, a week earlier than previously planned.

New ground will be broken too with a €10,000 purse for the new ‘GetzenChamp’, with prize money also given to top five finishers.

The original date, a week later, clashed with a World Enduro Super Series event, the Gotland Enduro, so the GetzenRodeo team decided to switch dates to allow riders to race both events.

With money like that up for grabs, we're expecting defending champion Graham Jarvis to face all the stars of extreme enduro.

The Zschopau region will in fact play host to an enduro festival of sorts with a traditional enduro running on Saturday, October 20th, just five kilometres from GetzenRodeo.
