Husqvarna Motorcycles have announced a new partnership between Husqvarna Bicycles and the Erzbergrodeo for the iconic event’s 25th anniversary, 2019. This a short video has Erzberg head honcho, Karl Katoch pitting MTB supremo Guido Tschugg against Junior SuperEnduro World Champion Kevin Gallas

The four day event at Eisenerz is among the toughest enduro challenges on the planet and a good fit for Husqvarna Bicycles to showcase itself: “When we learned about Husqvarna’s attempt to take on the e-bike market last year, we thought it made good sense to get the brand on board as our partner,” said Erzbergrodeo organiser Karl Katoch.

Along with e-bike test rides and guided rides, there will be more events planned throughout the duration of the 2019 Erzbergrodeo. “We have also planned a Husqvarna Explorer Tour, during which we will ride the Iron Road Prologue track exclusively on e-bikes,” added Katoch.

From her part, CEO of PEXCO GmbH Susanne Puello is looking forward to next year’s event: “The Erzbergrodeo attracts participants from all parts of the world – ambitious amateurs, semi-professionals as well as sponsored riders, who are looking for a real challenge. It is the perfect opportunity to show what Husqvarna Bicycles are capable of.”

The Erzbergrodeo takes place May 29 to June 2, 2019.
