Bolt, Jarvis and Walker all signed-up for early season British Extreme Enduro action in January 2019.
Early season, 2019 in the UK and there’s no time to get over the Christmas and New Year festivities. The British Extreme Enduro season kicks off January 13 with a strong line-up of riders down to race Fast Eddy’s British Championship round one.
Riders confirmed for the season opener at Tong, Yorkshire are WESS Champion Billy Bolt, legend Graham Jarvis, Paul Bolton and Jonny Walker who’ll make his comeback to racing.
Tough One takes on new format
Two weekends’ later the infamous Nant Mawr Quarry will again host The Michelin Tough One which this year has attracted the same riders (minus Bolt but with added David Knight), to a new format of racing in Extreme. The Tough One has broken with tradition in 2019 and turned to a Sprint race format to add spice and spectator value.
It promises to be a strong start to the year, often with a sprinkling of overseas talent hopping the channel to take in the action and prepare for the season ahead.
