British Extreme Enduro Championship video highlights from Tong, Great Britain where Graham Jarvis and Jonny Walker battled for the win.

It was a confident Graham Jarvis who took the opening round of the 2019 British Extreme Championship at Tong. The Extreme GOAT overtook Jonny Walker after a handful of laps but the pair shadowed each other for much of the race until Graham put the hammer down late on to finish two minutes clear.

Paul Bolton came home third after getting the better of Travis Teasedale.

For Jarvis, who doesn’t plan to race every round of the British Extreme Championship in 2019, it was a confident start to his season: “First race of the year for me and I was a bit slow to get going but it worked out well. When I caught Jonny (half way around lap three) that gave me some confidence. I followed some of his lines and managed to get by and pull clear. A couple of minutes gap in the end is pretty good.”

Jonny Walker, the reigning British champion, was upbeat about his second place: “I never really enjoyed Tong in the past but this year I really did. The course was so good. It was technical this year with lots of sections where if you didn’t get things right you lost 20 or 30 seconds.”
