Alès Trêm kicks off 2019 European Extreme Enduro season this weekend with Jarvis, Walker, Lettenbichler, Young and Roman among the big hitters aiming for the win.

The reigning champion at the southern French race is Mario Roman, who kept his locally-based Sherco Racing team happy with the win last year. Former winner Graham Jarvis ran home second in 2018 with Wade Young third. Famously Jarvis and mechanic Damo Butler had some hasty repairs to make during the main Sunday race last year after Graham damaged his clutch master cylinder hose ahead of the final lap.

Manuel Lettenbichler is also en-route as we type this, as is another former winner, Jonny Walker, who finished runner-up to Jarvis at last weekend’s British Extreme Championship opening round.
