Antti Pendikainen tragically injured in racing accident

It is with sadness that we report the passing of the 29-year-old stunt rider, enduro and rally racer, Antti Pendikainen.

Antti Pendikainen has sadly died while competing in the Vesivehmaa Grand National round of the European Cross Country Cup. It is reported that Pendikainen collided with trees during the race and died of the injuries he sustained, despite first aid at the scene.

Pendikainen will be remembered for many things including his stunt riding, jumping across rivers and throwing himself without a parachute from hot air balloons.

Having taken up enduro in recent years, Antti competed the Erzbergrodeo for the first time in 2018, he eventually finished among the top 135 riders at check point 15.

At Red Bull Romaniacs, Pendikainen rode in the silver class on a 125 and finished 16thin class.
