The Hard Enduro Series Germany ends its summer break this weekend with the third round at Vellahn which will see Kevin Gallas back in action.
Sunday, August 11, will see the 2019 Hard Enduro Series Germany – HESG – burst back into action with the third round in Vellahn, in Northern Germany.
The third round will see the comeback of 2018 HESG and Junior SuperEnduro World Champion, Kevin Gallas who’s ready to get back to racing after a lay-off.
Gallas will not have it easy with the battle for the 2019 championship hot right now between Robert Scharl and Leon Hentschel and just five points separating them.
As a member of the organising club, this will be Hentschel’s home race and he’ll be looking for his first ever HESG victory on home soil with the added incentive of taking the lead in the series.
While the duel between Scharl and Hentschel continues at the top of the table, round three will not see Blake Gutzeit (cruciate ligament injury) or Tim Apolle who has switched to Sherco and has looks set to compete in the US Endurocross Championship beginning this month.
Riders form six nations will compete in Vellahn with a strong Dutch contingent, local neighbours from this part of northern Europe. The third round will again feature the tested HESG format with a prologue, group races and finals all happening on the same day.
Entries are still available.
