World’s fastest off road racer, Ronnie Mac goes head-to-head with Billy Bolt at Weston Beach Race 2019 this weekend...
The 2019 Weston Beach Race takes place this weekend in Weston-Super-Mare in the UK. The infamous beach course in the South West of England is ready for another weekend of wet sand racing with the headline acts Billy Bolt and motocross megastar, Ronnie Mac set for a showdown.
The competition for this year’s win at Weston is as wide open as ever with Billy Bolt lining up for the second time alongside motocross-ace Mel Pocock. David Knight is a six-time Weston winner – his first was 20 years ago in 1999 – with his most recent podium result a hard-fought runner-up spot back in 2017.
As for the US MX megastar that is Ronnie Mac, the world’s fastest racer will be doing his thing for sure and seems to think “Billy Bob” is not a rider to worry about come Sunday…
Other names to look out for include Steven Clarke, Jamie Law, Matt Burrows, Stuart Edmonds, Carlton Husband and Jamie Wainwright are all names to look out for. Honda UK race team will be announcing their new team rider on Sunday morning ahead of the solo race.
North West 200 race and Isle of Man TT winner as well as Erzberg competitor previously, James Hillier is another notable name racing for the first time.
