Following its unveiling at EICMA motorcycle show, Husqvarna Motorcycles has confirmed the NORDEN 901 Concept Adventure bike model will go into production.
They are not yet saying when, how much it will cost or giving away too many details but Husqvarna Motorcycles has today confirmed a new model to be named the Norden 901: an 899.5cc, twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle.
Further expanding Husqvarna Motorcycles’ line of street model line-up, the Norden 901 is designed as a “dynamic and versatile long-distance traveller” and is Husqvarna Motorcycles’ typically unique vision of an adventure-touring motorcycle, slightly off-piste compared to bikes already on the market from rival manufacturers or indeed KTM, the NORDEN 901 looks like nothing else and promises to be off road capable.
Husqvarna says of the Norden 901:
Featuring distinct, modern design, it delivers both outstanding street and off road performance. Class-leading lightness and power delivery is set in a versatile and accessible package, precisely arranged to allow discerning riders uncompromised exploration possibilities. Delivering effortless rideability and high-end modern equipment the NORDEN 901 can be used on daily commutes, extended adventures and everything in between.
Brief technical details:
- 889.5 cc parallel twin engine specifically tuned for adventure usage
- Balance between off road performance and touring ability
- 21” front wheel, 18” rear

Further information related to the NORDEN 901 will be released at a later date.
