The U.S KTM Factory Racing Team announced for the 2020 season – Russell, Robert, Toth and Kelley joined by WESS Champ, Lettenbichler for select Hard Enduro events.
Seven-time GNCC Champion Kailub Russell, reigning WORCS and Sprint Hero Champion Taylor Robert, 2019 GNCC XC2 250 Pro Champion Ben Kelley and 2017 GNCC XC2 Champion Josh Toth, plus WESS Enduro World Champion, Manuel Lettenbichler – it some line-up for FMF KTM Factory Racing Team for the 2020 off road season.
KTM North America has also announced 2019 WESS Enduro World Champion Manuel (Mani) Lettenbichler will join the U.S. team as a guest rider competing in select Extreme Enduro off road races.
Heading up the team’s east coast efforts in the U.S., Kailub Russell aims for his eighth consecutive GNCC title in the XC1 Open Pro class – it sure is a winning combination.
Kailub will also race the Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series aboard the KTM 350 XC-F.
Taylor Robert, who had a stellar 2019 season claiming the WORCS and Sprint Hero Championships, stays with the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team to defend both titles aboard the KTM 450 XC-F.
In his third season with the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team, Josh Toth will return aboard the KTM 350 XC-F, where he will compete in the GNCC and National Enduro Championship for 2020.
Coming off a stellar 2019 season in the XC2 250 Pro class, Ben Kelley joins the premier class ranks for his official rookie season in GNCC’s XC1 Open Pro class aboard the KTM 450 XC-F (after ending the 2019 season with the big boys having won the XC2 championship). Kelley will also race the Pro class in the National Enduro Championship on the KTM 350 XC-F.
WESS Enduro World Champion, Manuel Lettenbichler, who is also set to defend his WESS title with the global Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, will make several appearances in the U.S. this season to contest select AMA U.S. Extreme Off Road events.
That list of events includes the Tennessee Knockout which forms round six of the WESS World Championship on August 15. More information on the WESS Series: iRideWESS.com
