Athena, Official Partner of the FIM International 6DAYS Enduro 2026
The Italian company confirms its presence at the 100th edition of the 6DAYS, which will be held from October 12 to 17, 2026, in Alentejo, Portugal.
Athena will strengthen its ties with international enduro in 2026 as Official Partner of the FIM International 6DAYS Enduro, a particularly symbolic edition of the event as it marks its 100th anniversary.
The historic competition for national teams and squads will return to Portugal from October 12 to 17, 2026, with the Alentejo region as the main setting. Portugal previously hosted the event in 1999, 2009 and 2019, and around 600 riders from 30 different nationalities are expected for this Centenary edition.
The 6DAYS remains one of the biggest challenges on the global off-road calendar, both because of its format and the mechanical, physical and technical demands it places on riders, teams and manufacturers. In this context, Athena will be present in the paddock with a product display area and interactive activities aimed at both riders and the public.
In addition, the Italian company will continue to support official and private teams as a technical partner, strengthening its presence in international racing alongside outfits such as Honda RedMoto, Kawasaki MGR and TM Boano. For Athena, the 6DAYS also represents a real-world development laboratory, where its mechanical and electronic components are tested in extreme operating conditions.
The brand’s participation in the Portuguese event confirms its strategy of continuing to grow within modern enduro, both at professional level and among the amateur community, bringing its technical solutions closer to riders seeking performance, reliability and a true racing experience.
Stefania Vercesi, Chief Marketing Officer of Athena, commented: “Being present at the 100th edition of the 6DAYS highlights the strong bond between our company and off-road two-wheel racing. This event brings together the history and evolution of Enduro, a strategic discipline for us because of the large number of fans it attracts and because it is an important test bench for our mechanical and electronic components in terms of performance and reliability.”
Fabio Muner, FIM Marketing & Digital Director, said: “I am pleased that Athena has once again placed its trust in the 6DAYS this year. The 100th edition marks an extraordinary milestone for off-road motorcycling. The return to Portugal, to a region strongly connected to this discipline, will provide the ideal setting to celebrate this anniversary alongside riders, teams and international partners.”
With its presence at the Centenary edition of the FIM International 6DAYS Enduro, Athena aims to further consolidate its role within off-road competition, increase the number of teams using its products in racing, and bring the racing experience closer to an ever-growing community of enduro fans.
