First look at the Sherco 2026 "Xtrem" Hard Enduro range with a new 250cc two-stroke joining the SE 300 model, both boastingout the crate upgrades for extreme riding and racing.

Announced in 2025 as a new official model, the Xtrem (French for Extreme if you’re wondering what’s up with the missing letters) the 300 two-stroke model from Sherco already proved itself a hit with riders wanting meaningful upgrades for Hard Enduro straight out the crate.

Inspired directly by Sherco’s official factory race programme, the SE Xtrem wears different graphics and has a long list of parts from the catalogue which they say means an actual saving if you were to fit them all individually.

Sherco say each Xtreme edition includes over €3500 worth of premium components and protection upgrades.

250 trending

For MY26, Sherco has introduced the 250cc option which joins the 300 SE Xtrem for more choice. There’s a growing trend for 250 two-strokes in hard enduro – different power characteristic, lighter clutch pull, “more rideable” some say.

It’s a fact which has been put to the test at the highest level by the now former Sherco Racing Factory rider, Mario Roman who used a 250 in the final rounds of the 2025 Hard Enduro World Championship.

Built upon the proven 250 SE Factory and 300 SE Factory platforms, Sherco say the Xtrem models are as close as it gets to the machines campaigned in the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship by Teodor Kabakchiev who will be joined in 2026 by Lorenzo Gandola in the factory team.
