First look at the 2026 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team Pro Bikes of Josep Garcia and Andrea Verona, the numbers one and two in the FIM EnduroGP World Championship exploding back into action this coming weekend in Custonaci, Sicily.

With a formidable two-rider line-up of reigning champions in E1 and E2, plus the one and two ranked riders in the world, the Red Bull KTM enduro team sits in an enviable position at the top of the EnduroGP tree.

Josep Garcia and Andrea Verona have a combined 15 world titles between them and now stand officially alongside each other in the orange, Fairoli factory team awning at world championship races as teammates.

Different characters on an off the dirt, Garcia and Verona also race different KTM models and classes – Josep in E1 on the 250 EXC-F and Andrea on the 450 EXC-F in E2. Their goals naturally are to add to that tally as they face up to what is expected to be a very competitive season in EnduroGP which begins at the GP of Italy this weekend (April 10-12).

World champion’s steed

Entering his 10th season with KTM, Josep Garcia defends both EnduroGP and E1 crowns on the KTM 250 EXC-F. The Spaniard enjoyed an exceptional 2025 campaign, securing his second EnduroGP title alongside his third Enduro1 crown, adding to a tally of seven world championships.

Garcia’s dominance across the season cemented his reputation as one of the fastest and most consistent riders in the sport – a fact brought home by his continued individual domination at the ISDE.

Verona goes linkageless

Joining Garcia in orange for 2026, Andrea Verona embarks upon his first EnduroGP season with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. The Italian boasts one more world title than his teammate with eight across youth, junior, and senior categories, including the EnduroGP crown in 2022.

Verona enters the new season as the reigning Enduro2 World Champion and will compete in the E2 class on the KTM 450 EXC-F. The same bike as his GASGAS from 2025 in many ways but notably that was a year of development on the big bike with no factory rider in enduro on a four-fiddy in years. Andrea also jumps on a PDS (no suspension linkage) chassis this year as he targets a third consecutive E2 title and go one better overall.

Josep Garcia: “Andrea and I have a really good relationship, and even though we’re very different in personality and riding style, it works well for the team. I think it creates a strong dynamic and helps push both of us forward.

“2025 was an incredible season in terms of results, achieving all my main goals, but it was also physically demanding with a few injuries along the way.

“For 2026, I’ll stay in Enduro1 with the 250, and I feel really confident with the bike – it suits my aggressive style perfectly. I know I’ll be the rider to beat again after the last two seasons, and while that brings some pressure, it’s something I enjoy. My goals are clear: to defend my EnduroGP and Enduro1 titles and to give my maximum in every race.”

Andrea Verona: “To represent KTM in the World Championship is something I’m really proud of as it’s been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I have a really good relationship with Josep, and while we’ll be rivals on track, I’m sure we’ll be a strong team together throughout the season.

“My riding style suits the 450 well, as I prefer to be smooth and flow with the bike, and I feel really comfortable with its power and overall character.

“Last season was a positive one, winning the Enduro2 title and finishing second overall in EnduroGP, even if there were a few races where I knew I could improve. Over the winter, we’ve worked hard on the bike and I’m happy with the progress we’ve made. My goal is always to win, and I’m ready to fight for that again in 2026.”

Fabio Farioli – Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Enduro Team Manager: “It’s an exciting season ahead for us with Josep and Andrea. Josep comes into 2026 after an outstanding year where he proved again that he is one of the strongest and most complete riders in EnduroGP, and his preparation over the winter has been very positive.

“Andrea is a great and new addition to the team. He brings a lot of experience, speed, and determination, and he has already shown how well he can adapt and perform at the highest level.

“Both riders have different strengths, different riding styles, and different capacity bikes, but that’s something that really benefits the team as a whole. We’ve worked hard during the off-season to prepare in the best possible way, and we’re confident we have everything in place to fight for wins and championships again this year.”
