EnduroGP World Championship promoters, Prime Stadium Eventos, and the FIM have announced the provisional calendar for the 2026 season.

Beginning in early April and finishing in early August, the 2026 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship will visit Italy, Spain, Finland, and Portugal twice, before concluding in Wales in August, with the penultimate round in July to be confirmed.

2026 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship Provisional Calendar

Round 1: April 10-12 - Italy

Round 2: May 1-3 - Spain

Round 3: May 22-24 - Finland

Round 4: June 12-14 - Portugal

Round 5: June 19-21  - Portugal

Round 6: July 17-19 - TBA

Round 7: August 7-9 - Wales

It’s an interesting schedule with the Italian GP having the honour of opening the season on April 10-12 and an early conclusion on August 7-9 in the UK at the GP of Wales – the round which formed the halfway point this year meaning the ’26 season will stop the clock around two months earlier than usual.

Again banking on a calendar of strong enduro nations, round two visits Spain at the beginning of May, before heading to Finland for round three at the end of the month. It’s a good mix of terrain and conditions, once again from the series promoters, taking the world championship to key nations for our sport.

Two visits to Portugal again in 2026 are both during June, with the venue for the penultimate round in mid-July to be confirmed.

After two highly successful events in 2024 and 2025, the GP of Wales will have the honour of seeing next year’s world champions crowned over the weekend of August 7-9.

No word yet on the Women’s series and which dates they will fit into but you might want to know we did also hear a rumour that a South American country could host a couple of rounds in the 2027 season. Stay tuned.

As for that early final date, the promoters say it is to help national championship organisers and the teams planning for the ISDE – more than two months to plan for the Six Days in Portugal on October 12-17 seems a bit much to us.

That said, they add, “with minimal downtime between rounds, the championship will maintain consistent momentum and remain prominent in the media spotlight”, which is something you can argue did not happen this year with a long summer break broken by the ISDE in Italy.

Carla Alvarenga – Prime Stadium Eventos, Managing Director: “We are pleased to announce the 2026 FIM EnduroGP calendar already. Spanning seven rounds, we have been able to devise a championship that can deliver high-quality races, featuring a wide variety of terrain and riding conditions to properly test the very best riders in enduro.

“From Italy to Spain, Finland, Portugal and Wales, each round will have a unique character of its own. While it is notable that the championship ends earlier in the year than previous seasons, in consideration for an October scheduled ISDE and allowing federations to plan for national championships, we are confident that it will help us to maximise visibility of the series.

“With minimal downtime between rounds, the championship will maintain consistent momentum and remain prominent in the media spotlight.

“Finally, while our planning for 2026 is already active and underway, we are excited to see the conclusion of the 2025 season across these next three races in Portugal, Italy and Germany. We wish our prospective world champions the best of luck.”
