Roland Liszka crowned 2025 Enduro European Champion in Grado finale
The 2025 Enduro European Championship wrapped up in Grado, Italy, where Lorenzo Macoritto dominated the weekend, but Hungary’s Roland Liszka sealed both the Overall and Junior 2 titles after a consistent season.
The coastal venue delivered a spectacular finale, combining beach sprints, pine forest enduro tests and tight grass sections. Riders faced a 35 km loop with three tests — beach, forest and grass — completed five times on Saturday and four on Sunday.
Day 1 – Macoritto takes the win, Liszka seals the crown
Saturday’s racing produced one of the closest fights of the year, with the top ten split by less than a minute. Lorenzo Macoritto (Husqvarna) took the overall win ahead of Peetu Juupaluoma (Husqvarna) and Valentin Mersin (Fantic), while Liszka (KTM) secured the overall championship with one day to spare.
Macoritto also topped E1, Daniel Mundell (KTM) dominated E2, and Leon Thoms (KTM) led E3. Among the Juniors, Pyry Juupaluoma (Kawasaki) won Junior 1, with Liszka continuing his unbeaten run in Junior 2. Lukasz Kurowski (KTM) and Mika Paavola (Husqvarna) led the senior classes, while Vilde Marie Holt (KTM) stormed to Women’s victory and Mersin (Fantic) took the Youth win.
Day 2 – Double for Macoritto, celebration for Liszka
Macoritto completed the double on Sunday ahead of Juupaluoma and Liszka, who celebrated his championship with another podium. Class winners repeated Saturday’s results, while Holt took another Women’s win, this time ahead of Malene Seljeseth (KTM) and Joana Gonçalves (Husqvarna). Mersin wrapped up Youth with another strong ride over Simone Cagnoni (Husqvarna) and Arman Rouquette (Sherco).
