New contract for Teo Kabakchiev with Sherco Factory Racing in Hard Enduro
Sherco Factory Racing and Teo Kabakchiev have announced a contract extension to race in Hard Enduro for a further two years, through 2027.
Bulgarian Teodor Kabakchiev will look back on his 2025 season as a tough one. It began with a ang and victory at Sherco’s “home race”, Ales Trem and early podiums in the opening Hard Enduro World Championship round and Erzbergrodeo where he took a dramatic third in an epic fight to the flag with Mitch Brightmore.
But Teo will also look back on two race ending crashes at Romaniacs and most recently the Roof of Africa – the former resulting in broken wrist which put him out of action and subsequently out of contention it the HEWC series.
The good news Kabakchiev has re-signed a contract with Jordan Curvalle and the Sherco Factory Racing team to continue for a further two seasons. Teo will also continue alongside Mario Roman in the factory team next season as both riders continue to up their game and trouble the dominance of Mani Lettenbichler and Billy Bolt in the world championship.
