The Tough One’s Dead ‘Ard Cuz, infamous British Hard Enduro in Nant Mawr Quarry is back on February 8.

If you need a translation then “Dead ‘Ard Cuz” means fairly robust cousin. A family relation to the renowned Tough One hard enduro which was one of the original and best extreme races, the Dead ‘Ard Cuz returns this February 8 with a play day also on the Saturday (7th) at the same venue.

The plug was pulled on the Tough One itself with so many conflicting race organisers in the UK seemingly working against each other in recent years, the people behind the T1, WOR Events, simply said enough was enough.

But WOR have kept the name afloat with the Tough One’s Little Brother and the Dead ‘Ard Cuz which will return to the Nant Mawr quarry this Feb.

A scene of suffering for many, including the editor of Enduro21 on too many occasions, Nant Mawr has seen the likes of Graham Jarvis, Billy Bolt and David Knight take winners trophies as it welcomed international elite enduro riders.
