European TT Rally Cup: Aprilia Riders Dominate Galicia Rally 2026 in Spain
The 2026 European Tout Terrain (TT) Rally Cup returned to Santiago de Compostela for the second consecutive year to open the season at the Galicia Rally, April 12 to 18, where Aprilia Tuareg riders dominated.
Held over six days in the stunning landscapes of northern Spain, the 2026 Galicia Rally saw riders tackle approximately 1635km, including around 1355km of special stages and tests, navigating through the mountains and plateaus of northwestern Spain.
A total of 118 motorcycles took part, including 40 FIM Europe riders, with competitors also representing the Women and Veteran categories.
From the very first day, Jacopo Cerutti (Aprilia) and Thomas Marini (Aprilia) set the pace, establishing themselves as the reference riders of the rally. Stage after stage, the two Aprilia riders maintained a strong and consistent rhythm, controlling the overall classification throughout the week.
In the end, it was Cerutti who claimed overall victory with an impressive performance, finishing just over two minutes ahead of Marini after nearly 22 hours of racing. Their dominance was further underlined by securing the top two positions in the M5 class, confirming Aprilia’s strength in the category.

Behind them, Fabien Edy (Honda) delivered a solid and consistent rally to secure third place overall and victory in the M2 class, ahead of Josep Pedro Subirats (KTM) and Julen Delaunay (Kove), who completed the top positions in a highly competitive field.
In the M3 class, Carlos Lopez Belloso (KTM) emerged as the winner after a strong and controlled performance, finishing ahead of fellow Spaniard Alberto Domingo Moreno (KTM) and Italy’s Daniele Livi (Husqvarna).
The M1 category saw Gary Tison (Husqvarna) take the victory with a consistent ride across all stages, followed by Manuel Piacenti (GasGas) and Maikol Reboldi (Triumph).
In the M4 class, Francesco Puocci (KTM) secured the win, while the M5 category was dominated by Cerutti and Marini, with Gerasimos Gkogkas (KTM) completing the podium.
A special mention goes to Esther Merino Garcia (Husqvarna), who claimed victory in the Women’s classification and delivered a strong performance throughout the rally, finishing inside the overall standings and confirming the growing competitiveness of female riders in rally raid.
