20th Anniversary KTM Adventure Rider Rally Heading for the Rocky Mountains
KTM North America have announced the 20th Anniversary Adventure Rider Rally in the rocky Mountains, Colerado on September 11-13, 2025.
Registration is now open for Adventurer riders who want to hit the road and trail with fellow KTM owners as well as selected guest and Pro riders at the 2025 rally.
As ever the event will feature adventure riding and a series of advanced challenges, along with the opportunity to demo select models from the current travel and dual-sport ranges.
The event in Breckenridge will offer the rally experience in the Rocky Mountain terrain where they promise breathtaking views of rugged peaks, alpine forests, and serene valleys while navigating winding trails and challenging routes.
KTM USA say the terrain in the 2025 KTM Adventure Rider Rally will be suited for various skill levels – for experienced riders and beginners – there’s something for everyone.
The format – supported by KTM with common places for lunch/gas – will once again promote a collective environment for riders to enjoy together.
Ride with the stars
Participants can either choose to lead their own self-guided rides or join KTM Ambassadors, such as Taylor Robert, Ryan Dungey, Marvin Musquin, Paul Krause, or Mike Lafferty, for a ride after the rider's meeting at basecamp each day.
All participants will be provided GPS tracks by KTM. A GPS device as well as a SPOT, InReach, or similar personal locator beacon (PLB) is required for all riders.
The KTM Adventure Rider Rally has been specifically developed for KTM Adventure and Enduro riders, however, it is open to all brands of street-legal motorcycles.
Riding Technique and Technical Riding Seminars will be available for participating riders and a broad mixture of adventure vendors will be on location.
Extreme Adventure Team Challenge
This year's rally will also see a new element added, the Extreme Adventure Team Challenge. Led by KTM’s own Quinn Cody and Chris Fillmore, the Extreme Adventure Team Challenge will feature two-rider teams on a challenging, two-stage rally designed to test their riding ability, navigation skills, and mental toughness.
Teams will start at Beaver Run Resort and navigate through a series of off-road challenges to an undisclosed overnight location; the second stage will return to Breckenridge via a separate and also challenging route.
Riders should be prepared to be pushed to their limits with navigation and over extreme technical terrain. Riders will navigate using the provided Rally-Comp device.
To be considered for the Extreme Adventure Team Challenge, riders must complete the application process. Applicants who meet the requirements, will be randomly selected to participate in the competition. Accepted participants will be notified in May.
Please note, the Extreme Adventure Team Challenge is exclusively for expert-level off-road riders. Participating teams in the Extreme Adventure Team Challenge will compete for a chance to win a trip to the 2026 KTM Australia Adventure Rallye!

Participants will receive an event t-shirt and hat, along with a pre-event dinner on Thursday, breakfast Friday-Saturday, and an Awards Dinner on Saturday, where riders will be able to recollect the experience and cap-off the orange camaraderie.
